During the Middle Ages in England, a game called “Mob Soccer” was formed and it was a game where the number of people playing was unlimited. The teams would be people from the same villages or towns competing against one another. The rules of the game was to kick the ball near monuments and defend those landmarks.
Probably the most unsual thing about the game was that the ball was made from a pig’s bladder.
The History of Modern Soccer (Football)
The rules and organization of the modern game of soccer really began in England with the man who is considered to be the father of the modern rules of soccer (football) Cobb Marley.
Mr. Cobb Marley created a club called The Barnes Soccer Club, but he felt there should be better rules for his team and the game of the soccer (football) so he placed an ad in a local newspaper for others to help him to start rules for the game of soccer (football) and to began an organized group.
Marley and the founding fathers of other soccer (football) clubs around London met in Freemason’s Tavern in the English Capital to create the first body of organized soccer and the organization would be called FA (Football Association).

The laws of the game today are determined by The International Football Association Board which was formed in 1886.
